• 'The Cloud' is a commonly used buzz word, and in the context of I.T. and the web, the 'Cloud' is really a psudonym for 'the Internet'. 
     
    Cloud computing is really just data storage, data management and data access on a server computer (over the internet) as opposed to having that data on your local computer.
     
    A modern example of the trend to cloud computing would be if you were to move all your Microsoft office documents and office itself, from your computer and move the docuements up to Google Docuemtns, where you can store the documents safely and have the software available online to update them.
